INTRODUCTION:

The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN), operating under the Government of Sindh, is collaborating with the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) to organize the Basic German Language Course-2025. This is an important and innovative program designed to benefit all eligible participants. Register now to attend and take advantage of this opportunity!

COURSE DELIVERY:

The course will be delivered in a hybrid format, offering both onsite attendance on campus and nationwide online connection. Lectures and SIREN programs are relayed to various universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country via the SIREN network's video conferencing setup.

ABOUT THE COURSE: This course is designed for undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students to quickly build German language proficiency. It aims to develop a holistic understanding of the language by exploring Germany's cultural, social, and political life. This knowledge will directly contribute to the academic and professional requirements of your discipline, helping you excel in your career.

COURSE OUTLINE: This beginner's Introduction to the German Language focuses on building practical communication skills for everyday situations like eating, shopping, and discussing hobbies. You'll master the basics of listening, speaking, reading, and writing through interactive activities. The curriculum includes audio exercises, grammar drills, and classroom conversations to cover daily topics. Designed for absolute beginners, the major focus is communicating in German and building comprehension from scratch.

ABOUT THE TRAINER: Meet Engr. M. Ghazanfar Rehman (aka. Leo / Leonhard Clement), a highly credentialed German Faculty member bringing over seven years of experience from leading institutions across Pakistan and beyond. As an IB, CAIE, and Pearson German certified examiner and curriculum developer, he holds advanced and FSE, DLSE and DLL teaching German qualifications from the Goethe-Institute.

HOW TO ATTEND: You can attend this course in two ways: Physically on campus at the mentioned venue, or online using your personal computer and the SIREN network's video conferencing setup.

CERTIFICATE: Registered participants earn a digital certificate upon successful course completion. This requires maintaining 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the final examination. Your final grade is calculated based on: Assignments/Tests (50%) + Final Exam (50%) = 100%.

Registration Fee: Rs. 5000/- for a complete course

Candidates should follow the two-steps procedure:

1)       Submit the Fee of Rs. 5000 (non-refundable) by downloading the Fee Deposit Challan.

2)    Register online by uploading the required documents.
