INTRODUCTION:

The Sindh Innovation, Research, and Education Network (SIREN), working under the auspices of the Government of Sindh, and the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) is organizing a hybrid lecture, entitled “Infrastructure Development under CPEC: Progress and Challenges”. Research scholars, Students, Scientists, Professionals, and faculty of SIREN affiliated universities are cordially invited to attend this important lecture.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  

§  To examine major infrastructure projects under CPEC.

§  To evaluate progress made in road, rail, and energy sectors.

§  To analyze the role of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in  

§  industrial development.

§  To identify key challenges such as financing, security, and implementation delays.

§  To assess the long-term impact of infrastructure modernization on Pakistan’s economy.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Dr. Ayaz ul Haq is a distinguished corporate and academic trainer with over 17 years of diversified professional experience spanning academia, stock exchange operations, corporate training, and research consultancy.

Dr. Haq has delivered numerous high-impact sessions under initiatives related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and has actively contributed through multiple sessions, focusing on capacity building, policy research, economic analysis, and institutional strengthening aligned with national development objectives.

Throughout his career, he has held progressively responsible positions ranging from Trading Manager in the stock exchange sector to Corporate Trainer and Research Consultant, integrating practical industry experience with academic excellence. His specialization includes quantitative and qualitative research methods, structural equation modeling, econometrics, financial analysis, and policy-oriented research.
